Casting Crowns are an American
Christian band with
a soft rock style genre. The band started as
a student worship band and were formed by their youth
pastor Mark Hall who is also their lead
vocalist. Some of their music has
a similar sound to secular band U2 hits like With or Without
You
and Where the Streets Have No Name. Their
self-titled debut album was co-produced
by Contemporary Christian music legend Steven Curtis
Chapman.
