Bible Storybags draws on a range of popular storytelling styles, especially story sacks and Godly Play, to encourage creative thinking and reflective response.

The material, which gives particular emphasis
to the 'learning from religion' aspect of RE, consists of
16 units covering the life of Jesus including his birth,
baptism and temptations, the choosing of his first
disciples, parables, miracles, encounters with people
such as Zacchaeus and Martha and Mary, the crucifixion and resurrection.

Each unit includes biblical references and the story synopsis, differentiated story scripts with photocopy permission, symbols to explore, assessment and background information, reflective activities, useful websites and optional prayers.
