Anna and Jacob are two young children who live in Bethlehem. One day, they notice from the rooftop of their home that people are flowing into Bethlehem to be counted as directed by the Emperor. Soon they notice that something mysterious, yet very important, is happening in a nearby stable, and it involves a young family who is about to have a baby.
