Vestal, with her instantly recognisable voice and trademark white lacy hanky, was known and loved the world over as the Queen of Gospel Music. Together, she and Howard carried on the Goodman legacy after the untimely deaths of their sons. The Goodman's were Gospel music royalty, who graced the Homecoming stage for more than a decade.
