The Gathering Band's last album Rise Up was well received by critics and worshippers alike and featured fresh songs from this energetic cutting edge worship band. A year on and the band have returned to the studio to record a new set of worship songs with an eye to the outside world. Here are songs that celebrate redemption but remember the emptiness from which we've escaped. That theme was reflected in The Gathering MAX which happened in 2007 at Birmingham NEC where thousands attended. For this CD there's a bonus DVD of four live worship tracks recorded at that event.
