For each Sunday of the year, there is a brief commentary and reflection, taken from Tom Wright's weekly 'Church Times' column, on the Common Worship lectionary readings.

Each section gives the lectionary references and gives a starting-point for thinking about the readings, drawing out points of connection between them.

The book can be used for regular Bible study throughout the year, or for sermon preparation. It covers all Sundays in the year, using track 1 (Daily Eucharistic Lectionary) for the Sundays after Trinity.
