Planet Shakers is a ministry that aims to empower young people to see their community, their city, their nation and the nations of the world won for Jesus, through powerful praise and worship and inspirational teaching. The Planet Shakers conference is held every year in January, seeing thousands come from all over Australia and different parts of the world. They also provide ministry resources, CD's, music books, tape series and other merchandise. Each year, the team also travels around Australia for 'Nights of Fire', a one night taste of the conference experience which ministers to local youth groups. Planet Shakers began six years ago with about 300 delegates.

It was birthed out of a vision that Russell Evans received from God, instructing him to start a youth conference that would change young people, and inspire them to make a difference in their world. Since then, we have seen incredible growth with numbers doubling every year. In 2003, the results were astounding as the Brisbane venue sold out weeks prior to the starting date. The three weeks in 2003 saw over 9000 full time delegates, with many, many more attending night rallies. In 2004, the conference will be in five venues over three weeks. Two weeks in Adelaide, an inaugural week in Perth at Challenge Stadium and two venues in the one week in Brisbane (at Garden City Christian Church and Citipointe COC).
