Introducing the first Musicademy DVDs for keyboard players

The intermediate series is perfect for those who have learnt some classical piano in the past but want to transfer that knowledge into contemporary keyboard playing.The teaching focuses on contemporary playing styles and as such encourages students to play by following the kind of chord chart often used in modern worship rather than by reading the musical score. Presenter and tutor Tim Martin says 'Chords based playing is much simpler and quicker for the beginner to pick up on. It also lends itself to easy improvised playing which is much more appropriate in a modern worship setting'.

Each DVD is at least 2 hours long and feature:

- Step-by-step teaching of keyboard playing and essential music theory outworked with songs such as How Great is Our God, Come Now is the Time to Worship, Faithful One and How Great Thou Art

- Guided 'play throughs' with the Musicademy band

- Daily practice backing tracks of the featured songs

- Hints, tips and practical advice from worship leaders including Brenton Brown, Vicky Beeching, Tre Sheppard (Onehundredhours), Stuart Townend, Tim Neufeld (Starfield), Tommy Walker, Leeland Mooring, Andy Piercy (Delirious? producer), Stu G (Delirious?) and Noel Richards.

Each series represents a years worth of worship focused lessons and is designed for complete beginners through to experienced worship band players.
