- By default our search engine excludes products that are out of print. If you think the product you are looking for may be out of print (for example if it is an older product), use our advanced search and check the box 'show out of print'.
- The search bar that appears on every page matches keywords. Keywords are made up of any word/number that appears in the title, author name, catalogue number or isbn. Our keyword search doesn't match parts of words, only the complete word. Hence entering 'grace courage' will return all products that contain the words 'grace' and 'courage' in either the title and also the author name.
- Our search engine ignores inverted commas and other punctuation, it is not possible to search for an exact phrase using double quotes. Instead of this, we suggest that you simply enter as much of the phrase as possible. Similarly using a " " sign or "AND" will not have any effect on the search results.
- Selecting a category and sub-category where possible can help to narrow down the number of products that are returned. With over 150,000 products in our database it is easy to generate a large list of products, choosing keywords carefully and selecting categories to search within can save time.
