The first and easiest way to do this is to browse or search for the item and use the link ‘add to basket’, which appears on all search result pages. This will add a quantity of one of the specified product to your shopping basket. You can also click the red ‘add to basket’ button on product details pages (this allows you to specify a different quantity greater than one before clicking the button).
The second way is to manually add the item to the shopping basket. This can be helpful if you are ordering from a Wesley Owen catalogue. From the shopping basket page, simply enter the Wesley Owen catalogue number or product ISBN (if you have it handy) in the appropriate text box, update the quantity (if you wish to add more than one) and click the ‘add item’ button.
Once you have added an item to the shopping basket you should see the image, title, author, price and other information listed in the ‘Items to purchase now’ section.
Saving items for later
If you don’t wish to purchase a particular item at this point in time, you can move it to your ‘saved for later’ items, where it will stay until you move it back or delete it. Once you have added an item to your shopping basket, simply click the ‘save for later’ button on the right-hand side. You will see the item now appears in the ‘Saved For Later’ listing. When you wish to purchase the item, simply click the ‘add to basket’ button to the right. If you wish to order more than one copy of the item then you will need to update the quantity once you have added it back.
Logging in
Prices displayed in the shopping basket are based on the country that your order is being sent to (UK by default), any trade discounts and other factors. To see the most accurate pricing information available we suggest you log in using the ‘log in here’ link at the top of the shopping basket. Once you have logged in you will see your name displayed, and more accurate details will be displayed based on your location. You won’t need to log in again to place your order during this session.
For more help with logging in to your account, see section 4 below.
